"Love Your Heart" Community Health & Resource Fair

"Love Your Heart" is an annual event in which organizations join together to provide FREE blood pressure screenings to the public. The event brings together community partners to prevent heart disease and stroke and empowers the public to take control of their heart health, know their blood pressure numbers, and know what they mean.JOIN NOW

Making Black History Today: Dr. Akilah Weber

Director of the Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology Division at Randy Children's Hospital-San Diego, Dr. Akilah Weber is an active member of the community and gives talks to various churches and community organizations.

She serves as a positive role model for the youth and exposing them to careers in the STEM fields. She made history by becoming the first African American to be elected to the La Mesa City Council. Read More

COVID Vaccine Update by Dr. Gillespie: Taking Your Health Into Your Own Hands

Dr. Gillespie gives an update on the Covid Vaccine from who can currently get vaccinated as well as where to get it. Until we can all get vaccinated, Dr. Gillespie urges us to wash our hands, wear a mask, and socially distance.
