"Love Your Heart" is an annual event in which organizations join together to provide FREE blood pressure screenings to the public. Making Black History Today: Dr. Akilah Weber
Director of the Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology Division at Randy Children's Hospital-San Diego, Dr. Akilah Weber is an active member of the community and gives talks to various churches and community organizations.
She serves as a positive role model for the youth and exposing them to careers in the STEM fields. She made history by becoming the first African American to be elected to the La Mesa City Council. Read More
